Imperium Financial Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading firm of Insolvency Specialists based in Manchester City Centre. We are seeking an experienced Corporate Insolvency Cashier to join a dynamic and well-established team in a highly respected firm.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day financial and banking transactions associated with corporate insolvency cases. This role is integral to the smooth financial administration of insolvency processes and offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a specialist professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing client and office bank accounts in accordance with insolvency regulations

  • Processing receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations

  • Preparing and submitting statutory reports and financial reconciliations

  • Handling dividend payments to creditors and distributions to shareholders

  • Monitoring cashflow across a portfolio of insolvency cases

  • Liaising with insolvency practitioners, administrators, and external stakeholders

  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements

  • Assisting with audits and internal reviews

Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a cashiering role within an insolvency or professional services environment

  • Strong understanding of insolvency procedures and relevant legislation (preferable)

  • High attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracy

  • Proficient with banking platforms and financial systems (e.g., IPS, Sage, or similar)

  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload across multiple cases

  • Professional, reliable, and team-oriented approach
