We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SC Cleared Senior Data Analyst to join our team for a 9-week contract with a central government client. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing complex datasets, providing actionable insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making processes. You must already be SC Cleared, and be able to start immediately. Must also have previously worked for a central government organisation. Purpose of the role:

  • Develop, optimise, and maintain BI dashboards and reports to effectively communicate insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Continuously enhance dashboard functionality and user experience by incorporating stakeholder feedback and adapting to evolving business needs.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data in reports and dashboards, in compliance with data governance policies and data protection regulations.
  • Collaborate with Data Analysts and key stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and improve data analysis capabilities.

Tool Development and Management:

  • Utilise existing data models, warehouses, and ETL processes to extract and prepare relevant information for analysis and reporting.
  • Develop, optimise, and maintain BI dashboards and reports to effectively communicate insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Continuously enhance dashboard functionality and user experience by incorporating stakeholder feedback and adapting to evolving business needs.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data in reports and dashboards, in compliance with data governance policies and data protection regulations.
  • Manage tool consumption by regularly checking usage against the demand plan and adjusting the capacity plan as needed.
  • Collaborate with department teams to manage service capacity and prevent provisioning or availability issues

In return, you will receive the opportunity to support a major government department going through a large digital transformation. The possibility to work on a 9-week initial contract paying up to £475 p/day (in scope of IR35). There will be a requirement to be on site up to 3 days per week. This can be based at any site across the country.
