Urban Planner
Manchester Based | £30k-£37k | Flexible Hours Available
We're currently representing a progressive planning consultancy on the lookout for a talented Urban Planner to join their growing team in Manchester. The Role:
As a Planner, you'll be working closely with senior consultants and clients on a wide variety of planning projects across the UK. Your role will include:

Carrying out planning policy research and initial site appraisals

Preparing high-quality written planning advice and reports

Managing smaller applications and supporting larger projects

Coordinating with external consultants and internal design teams

Producing planning updates, client briefings, and social media content

Supporting the team's business development efforts and networking activity
What You'll Need:

A Master's degree in Planning, Geography, or a similar field

Around 2 years of practical experience in a planning or consultancy environment

A strategic mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving
-
Excellent communication and organisational skills
-
Comfortable taking initiative and working independently
-
RTPI Associate membership (or working towards full accreditation)

Adobe Creative Suite knowledge is a plus
-
A UK driver's licence is beneficial but not essential
