The team is committed to delivering exceptional client service and practical, commercially driven solutions.

Role Overview

The firm is seeking a talented Bridging Finance Solicitor with a minimum of 1 year PQE to join their expanding team. You will manage a varied caseload of bridging finance transactions from instruction through to post-completion, ensuring legal compliance and the highest standards of client care. This role offers exposure to a wide range of residential and commercial property matters within a fast-moving, specialist environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a full caseload of bridging finance transactions, including:
  • Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
  • Remortgages and refinancing
  • Transfers of equity
  • Lease extensions
  • Liaise with brokers, lenders, valuers, and clients to progress matters efficiently.
  • Draft and review loan agreements, security documents, and related paperwork.
  • Conduct due diligence and manage risk on behalf of lender clients.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and anti-money laundering requirements.
  • Provide support to junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain and build strong client relationships, assisting with business development where required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 1 year PQE in bridging finance.
  • Experience with development finance or buy-to-let portfolios.
  • Familiarity with lender-side representation and institutional clients.
  • Knowledge of the Building Safety Act and its implications for property transactions.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.
