We’re a fresh-thinking, fast-growing law firm with big ideas and even bigger ambitions. As we lay the foundation for something bold and dynamic, we’re looking for a senior leader to shape and drive our Business Recovery & Insolvency department.

This role is about more than leadership—it’s about ownership. You’ll be a key player in setting our direction and delivering high-impact legal support in one of the most complex and critical areas of law.

What You’ll Lead & Achieve

  • Shape the Strategy: Drive the development of a high-performing insolvency practice, from team culture to client delivery.
  • Deliver Expertise: Advise insolvency practitioners, directors, and stakeholders on restructuring, administration, liquidation, and receivership.
  • Manage the Complex: Tackle both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters with technical excellence and commercial acumen.
  • Lead in Court: Represent clients in litigation, negotiations, and other high-stakes environments.
  • Collaborate Firmwide: Work alongside departments such as litigation, property, and corporate recovery to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Mentor & Develop: Cultivate talent across the team, encouraging progression and professional growth.
  • Stay Current: Lead with insight by keeping ahead of legal trends and regulatory changes.

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified solicitor with significant experience in business recovery & insolvency
  • Demonstrated success in managing high-value, multifaceted insolvency cases
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Outstanding communicator with strategic vision and client-facing presence
  • Proven ability to thrive under pressure and manage diverse caseloads
