We are looking for an experienced Civil Litigation Solicitor to lead our Civil Litigation team in Manchester. This is a key role in our firm, ideal for someone ready to drive performance, manage a varied caseload, and play a strategic part in our ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the Civil Litigation Team.
  • Oversee a caseload including contract disputes, property matters, debt recovery, and landlord-tenant issues.
  • Provide clear legal advice and guidance to clients.
  • Draft and review complex legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court, mediations, and negotiations.
  • Mentor and supervise junior solicitors and support staff.
  • Track case progress and departmental targets.
  • Stay informed on legal developments in civil litigation.
  • Support business development through networking and client engagement.
  • Work with senior leadership to align departmental and firm-wide goals.
