Role Overview

The firm is seeking a talented Business Recovery and Insolvency Solicitor with a minimum of 1 year PQE to join their growing practice. You will work closely with insolvency practitioners, handling both contentious and non-contentious corporate insolvency matters, and advising on all aspects of business recovery. This is a varied and challenging role offering exposure to complex cases and the opportunity to work alongside highly experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise insolvency practitioners on all aspects of corporate insolvency, including administration, liquidation, and receivership.
  • Handle both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters, including litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Draft and review insolvency-related applications, agreements, and reports.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
  • Conduct legal research and stay informed on developments in insolvency law.
  • Provide strategic advice and support to office holders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver innovative solutions for clients.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 1 year PQE in business recovery and insolvency.
  • Proven experience in both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters.
  • Strong understanding of corporate insolvency laws and procedures.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and perform well under pressure.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
