Litigation Solicitor

Spencer Clarke Group are working with a respected Northwest Local Authority to appoint an experienced Litigation Lawyer.

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality legal advice, representation, and support across a broad range of general litigation matters, with a particular focus on local authority regulatory and debt recovery cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice on general litigation.
  • Prepare, conduct, and appear as an advocate on behalf of the Council in the Magistrates' Court, County Court, Tribunals, and other relevant forums.
  • Draft and review legal documentation, reports, case files, and court papers to a high professional standard.

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) with a current practising certificate.
  • Strong experience advising on local authority legal matters.
  • Demonstrable advocacy experience, including court work and attendance at committees, panels, and meetings.
