Role OverviewA top-tier, international law firm with a recognised Regulatory Crime Department is seeking a skilled Motor Crime Defence Lawyer to join their Manchester office. You will handle complex and high-profile motor offence cases including death by dangerous or careless driving, serious injury, and drink driving. This role offers the chance to develop your expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment, with regular client interaction and national case coverage.Candidate Profile / Experience Needed
  • 2+ years PQE with motor crime or criminal defence experience
  • Strong understanding of the Criminal Justice System in England & Wales
  • Experience handling police investigations and CPS prosecutions
  • Willingness to travel across England and Wales; full driving licence required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage a high-pressure caseload and tight deadlines
  • Advocacy experience beneficial but not essential
