DCT Recruitment is proud to partner with a highly regarded Legal 500 firm in Manchester City Centre, as they look to welcome a driven and ambitious Newly Qualified Solicitor to their growing litigation department.This is a unique opportunity to join at an exciting time of expansion, working closely with the Legal Director to build a specialist commercial litigation team in Manchester. Known for handling high-value, complex commercial disputes, the firm operates across multiple sectors and works with both national and international clients.They offer a modern, inclusive, and collaborative working culture – where your voice is heard, your development is prioritised, and your career progression is actively supported.You will:•Work alongside the Legal Director to develop and expand the Manchester litigation team•Handle a variety of high-value commercial disputes and contractual matters•Assist in drafting pleadings, witness statements, correspondence, and legal opinions•Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries•Liaise with clients, counsel, and opposing parties•Be supported by a team that values mentoring, development, and collaborationThis is not just a fee-earner role – it's a chance to play a foundational part in building a new teamshaping internal processes, and contributing to the future of the firm’s litigation offering in Manchester.You will ideally:•Be a Newly Qualified Solicitor (up to 1 year PQE), preferably with experience in commercial litigation during your training contract•Be confident in handling client communications and taking responsibility for your own caseload under supervision•Demonstrate excellent research, drafting and analytical skills•Be proactive, commercially aware, and eager to contribute to team and business development•Have a growth mindset and be seeking genuine long-term progression within litigationWhat’s on Offer:•Competitive salary of £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience•Hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 days remote)•Work alongside senior legal professionals and learn directly from leadership•Be part of a forward-thinking, Legal 500recognised firm•Unlimited career progression – with clear, achievable paths into senior roles•A culture that values people, work-life balance, and professional growth•Regular team events, CPD opportunities, and a modern office space in the heart of ManchesterPlease call Bartosz at DCT Recruitment on for more details
