We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Personal Injury (Employers Liability) Solicitor to join a growing Employers Liability team based in Manchester, managing a caseload of predominantly pre- and post-issue fast track EL claims.
Solicitor - Employers LiabilityLocation: ManchesterSalary: Up to £55,000 (DOE) + Uncapped Monthly CommissionHours: Mon-Thurs 8:30am-5:30pm, Fri 8:30am-5:00pm

Key Responsibilities
- Handle your own caseload of EL claims from start to finish.
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and provide sound legal advice.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court when required.
- Keep up to date with changes in laws and regulations.
- Work proactively to meet targets and progress cases efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record of billing and handling a litigated caseload.
- Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and litigation strategy.
- Experience dealing with EL fast-track claims, both in and out of the portal.
- Tenacity and a results-driven mindset.
- Previous use of Proclaim case management system is a plus.
- Ability to manage cases through applications, challenges, and trial.
