The Role:We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Property Finance Solicitor to join our dynamic team. You will advise lenders and borrowers on a wide range of real estate finance transactions including acquisitions, developments, and refinancing of investment portfolios. This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their expertise in a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising banks, financial institutions, and private lenders on secured lending and property finance transactions.
  • Drafting and negotiating loan agreements, security documents, and ancillary finance documents.
  • Acting for borrowers on the real estate aspects of finance transactions.
  • Conducting due diligence on property portfolios and liaising with other departments as needed.
  • Managing transactions from instruction through to post-completion, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
  • Supporting business development and contributing to client relationship management.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with [2-5 years’] post-qualification experience in real estate finance or commercial property with finance exposure.
  • Proven experience advising lenders and/or borrowers on secured lending matters.
  • Strong technical skills in property and finance law.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
  • A commercial mindset and a proactive, client-focused approach.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Commercial Finance, Residential Finance, development finance, bridging loans,
  • Exposure to cross-border transactions or international clients.
