An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Travel Litigation Solicitor or Litigation Executive to join my clients team on a hybrid basis in their Manchester offices.

My client is seeking a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive or Litigation Executive with 2+ years experience in handling Travel Litigation cases.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Running a caseload of pre-litigation and litigated accident abroad cases• Ensuring that cases are progressed effectively, meeting defined deadlines, and complying with precedents and documents in our case management system• Providing a high level of client care, respect and integrity in the management and progression of client’s cases• Obtaining medical evidence when required and reviewing and providing advice on it• Collating and reviewing documentation and evidence• Managing all aspects of cases including time recording, billing and debtor management in order to achieve personal fee and chargeable time targets• Actively engaging in Business Development to ensure high visibility of the department and wider company

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in a similar role and should be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the Personal Injury and Travel Litigation markets.• A sound understanding of the relevant law.• A strong commercial awareness.• Ability to demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of a case from beginning to end.• Excellent communication skills, demonstrated by an ability to communicate accurately, clearly, and concisely, both verbally and in writing.• Be able to demonstrate high client care/service skills.• Ability to work in and contribute to a team environment.• Excellent organisation skills and ability to prioritise a workload effectively.• Ability to build and maintain good working relationships.• Solid experience in using a variety of IT packages. Use of Proclaim, Case Management System, an advantage.
