Are you a seasoned Process Safety Engineer looking for a hands-on role on a top-tier COMAH chemical site? Join a team driving safe, efficient, and compliant operations in a high-hazard environment.
What you'll do:
Maintain and improve the safety management system (COMAH, REACH, ISO).
Lead HAZOPs, plant modifications, and process safety improvements.
Commission new or modified plant, ensuring compliance and operational reliability.
Support new process introductions, training operators for safe operation.
Work closely with HSE, auditors, contractors, and plant teams.
Who we're looking for:
Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering (Chartered preferred).
5-10 years' experience in high-hazard chemical or heavy industry.
Strong technical knowledge of process safety and regulatory requirements.
Confident communicator from shop floor to senior management.
Skilled at balancing day-to-day troubleshooting with long-term improvement.
This is a senior, hands-on role with wide responsibility for keeping a multi-million-pound plant safe and compliant.
