A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Legal Administrator to join a leading law firm in their Manchester City Centre office on an apprenticeship.

This role is integral to the smooth operation of the team and involves providing comprehensive administrative support to partners, fee earners, and personal assistants. You will be working in a collaborative, high-performing environment committed to diversity, inclusion, and sustainable growth.

You must has strong written and verbal skills, be proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint and have previous administration experience ideally from a legal or professional services background.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide full administrative support to partners, fee earners, and personal assistants
  • Manage filing and file organisation, including opening, closing, and archiving files
  • Assist with the organisation and delivery of internal and external seminars
  • Produce, format, and engross legal documents; compile document bibles
  • Obtain official copy documents from local authorities and search providers
  • Use the Land Registry Portal and other online search platforms
  • Maintain document and filing systems to ensure efficiency and compliance
  • Support scanning, photocopying, and document printing
  • Assist with file archiving and retrieval tasks
  • Provide cover for other administrative roles and support other departments when required
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail; provide reception cover as needed
