Douglas Scot are working with a reputable Legal 500 multi-sector firm based in Manchester, which is seeking two experienced and motivated Paralegals to join their New-Build Conveyancing team. The roles are offering a promising opportunity for individuals looking to advance their legal careers with the potential of securing a training contract after 18 months, subject to performance.The candidate must have had exposure with New Build or Off-plan developments which means where a property is purchased that has not yet been built but the plans are seen in advance, there are more time constraints, with only an expected completion date usually within 30 days therefore this can be quite challenging and would suit someone that is able to multi-task and work to tight deadlinesKey Responsibilities:
  • Assist Conveyancers: Support in managing caseloads by performing legal procedures under supervision.
  • Client Interaction: Handle file-related queries via telephone or face-to-face, take instructions from clients, and manage correspondence.
  • Case Management: Update case management systems and client systems to ensure compliance with firm procedures.
  • File Management: Open, process, prepare, close, and archive files as required.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience: Exposure to New Build or Off-plan developments, where properties are purchased before they are built, is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong ability to multi-task and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
