Imperium Financial Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected insolvency business based in Manchester City Centre. We are seeking an experienced Legal PA to provide direct support to the Head of Legal in a fast-paced and professional environment.

This role would suit an existing Legal PA with experience supporting senior legal professionals, or a Paralegal who does not wish to pursue qualification but is looking for a varied and long-term role in a dynamic commercial setting.

The Role:

As Legal PA, you will play a key role in supporting the Head of Legal across a range of administrative, legal and organisational tasks. You will be involved in handling sensitive information, preparing legal documents, and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations within the legal function of a growing insolvency practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing high-level administrative and organisational support to the Head of Legal

  • Drafting and formatting legal documents, correspondence and reports

  • Managing diaries, meetings, and travel arrangements

  • Handling confidential information and maintaining legal files

  • Assisting with document management, file organisation and case tracking

  • Liaising with internal teams, clients, external solicitors and stakeholders

  • Supporting with compliance, regulatory filings, and internal legal processes

Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Legal PA or Paralegal within a legal or professional services environment

  • Excellent attention to detail, written communication and document management skills

  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Confident, discreet, and professional with strong interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems

  • Understanding or interest in insolvency, restructuring or commercial law is advantageous
