Role Overview:

  • Managing a caseload of pre-action and litigious medico-legal matters on behalf of our medical experts and our clients.
  • Ensuring that all of our experts are aware of key dates including Court timetabled dates and Court listed hearing dates.
  • Corresponding with clients via email and telephone.
  • Uploading new instructions on to our bespoke file sharing platform.
  • Indexing, paginating and extracting relevant documents/medical records for experts to review.
  • Adhering to data protection regulations and laws at all times.
  • Completing additional ad hoc tasks when requested.

Person Specification

  • Must have an understanding of both the civil and criminal legal justice systems; experience in a clinical negligence role ideal.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • IT literate: Excellent knowledge of Windows and Apple operating systems (training will be given as necessary for all company bespoke systems).
  • Must have an eye for detail.
  • Experience of speaking to clients over the phone and corresponding by email.
  • Driven and self-motivated.
  • Being able to work to sometimes tight deadlines.
