Global provider who is known for their comprehensive logistics solutions worldwide is now seeking to recruit a Trainee Transport Operator for their M22 station. Salary band £25,500-£26,500. TTP contract. Brilliant opportunity for the ones who want to enter the logistics sector.
Purpose of the job.
- Process Road domestic movements from start to finish process courier movements via 3rd party transport suppliers.
- Process web booking from customers. Interact with the customers building up a good relationship.
- Working closely with company's transport and warehouse. Invoicing and dealing with account queries.
- Completion of reports.
Requirements
- Previous knowledge or experience in transport or courier logistics, beneficial but not essential.
- Customer Services focused.
- Well organised and have attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a can do attitude
- Able to function in a fast paced environment
- Able to use own initiative and be a team player
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- IT literate
