Warehouse ManagerGreater Manchester£40,000 - £50,000 (DOE) + Benefits

Our client is looking for a pro-active and experienced Warehouse Manager to be a part of their ambitious growth plans. You'll be joining a great team which are looking to future-proof their business through an exciting period of transformation. You'll manage a small team and be responsible for ensuring day to day KPI's are achieved; working closely with the wider team to optimise inventory & service levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the daily picking, packing, and transportation of distribution orders.
  • Ensuring orders meet delivery schedules in both quantity and quality.
  • Maintaining accurate stock records using Sage 200.
  • Keep the warehouse organised and compliant with Health and Safety standards.
  • Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff.
  • Maintain clear communication with production departments and the sales office.

Essential Skills

  • Strong communication, leadership, and people management skills.
  • Experience with Sage 200 is essential.
  • Proven record in optimising stock & inventory performance.
  • A background in Engineering or Fabrication environments would be ideal, as would previous history working for SME businesses.
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask, and work under pressure.
  • Results-driven, with a focus on continuous improvement.
