Maintenance Engineer / Service Engineer - 45,000 to 55,000 | Manchester + Surrounding Areas

Are you an experienced Maintenance or Service Engineer looking for a dynamic and rewarding opportunity?

The Role:
We're hiring Maintenance Engineers to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on life safety smoke control systems across Manchester and surrounding regions. You'll be on-site Monday to Friday during standard business hours (some early starts and occasional overnight stays required).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, test, repair, and maintain natural and mechanical smoke ventilation systems

  • Produce detailed service reports for each visit

  • Liaise with clients to diagnose faults and recommend solutions

  • Collaborate with the maintenance department to identify opportunities

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in fault finding and working with electrical control panels

  • 18th Edition Electrical Qualification + Level 3 Electrical or equivalent

  • Working at height experience

  • ECS or CSCS Card (preferred)

  • Full UK driving license (max 6 points)

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills
