Maintenance Engineer / Service Engineer - 45,000 to 55,000 | Manchester + Surrounding Areas
Are you an experienced Maintenance or Service Engineer looking for a dynamic and rewarding opportunity?
The Role:
We're hiring Maintenance Engineers to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on life safety smoke control systems across Manchester and surrounding regions. You'll be on-site Monday to Friday during standard business hours (some early starts and occasional overnight stays required).
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, test, repair, and maintain natural and mechanical smoke ventilation systems
Produce detailed service reports for each visit
Liaise with clients to diagnose faults and recommend solutions
Collaborate with the maintenance department to identify opportunities
What We're Looking For:
Experience in fault finding and working with electrical control panels
18th Edition Electrical Qualification + Level 3 Electrical or equivalent
Working at height experience
ECS or CSCS Card (preferred)
Full UK driving license (max 6 points)
Strong communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills
