Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer Duties:

• Days. (Flexi)
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical plant and equipment.
• Support continuous improvement and reliability projects across production lines.
• Work on pumps, gearboxes, furnaces, presses and other bespoke process machinery.
• Collaborate with the electrical team to minimise downtime and maintain safety standards.
• Contribute to site upgrades, installations and machinery improvement projects.

Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

• Recognised electrical qualifications.
• Time-served or qualified Mechanical Engineer (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or process environment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills on mechanical systems.
• Confident working to planned maintenance schedules and responding to breakdowns.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and general fabrication/welding advantageous.
