Synergi are recruiting for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join a large manufacturer based in the Greater Manchester area. The successful candidate would join the Engineering Team on a 3 on 3 off Days basis.
Engineer Job Description:
As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be overseeing reactive and Planned Maintenance and ensure standards are hit. You will be diagnosing faults, identifying problems on machinery, and implementing solutions
Roles & Responsibilities as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer:
- Mechanical Maintenance working on conveyors, hydraulics, gearboxes, ovens, mixers, pneumatics etc
- Demonstrating excellent fault finding and problem-solving skills concerning; pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and plc equipment
- Understanding Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, permits to work and other related Health & Safety documentation associated to the department.
- General day to day PPM work
To be suitable for this position, the ideal Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer will have experience in the below:
- A UK Recognised engineering qualification, Mechanical apprenticeship or City & Guilds NVQ Level 3, ONC or HND in Mechanical Engineering
Worked in either Heavy industrial, Food, Pharmaceutical or General FMCG sites - A good understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics and general fitting duties.
- Basic understanding of three phase electricals and of control systems would be an advantage
