Site Supervisor

Trafford Park, Manchester
Permanent | £48,000 – £56,000 + Vehicle & Package (DOE)

We’re looking for an experienced Site Supervisor / General Foreman to join the delivery team on a major £300 million civil engineering project near Trafford Park, Manchester.

Spanning 3 years, the scheme involves complex groundworks, drainage, utilities, and reinforced concrete structures. As a key site-based leader, you’ll be responsible for supervising operatives and subcontractors, ensuring work is delivered safely, to spec, and on programme.

• Supervise day-to-day site activities across civils packages

• Coordinate gangs, plant, and subcontractors on the ground

• Enforce health & safety (RAMS, toolbox talks, PPE compliance)

• Monitor progress and quality in line with design and programme

• Liaise with engineers and site managers to relay updates and resolve issues

• Maintain site records, diaries, and reporting systems

• Promote a positive safety-first culture across the workforce

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor / Foreman on civils/infrastructure projects

• Strong knowledge of groundwork, drainage, utilities, and RC works

• SSSTS or SMSTS, CSCS (Gold or Supervisor), and First Aid

• Ability to lead by example and coordinate teams on complex worksites

• Good communication and organisational skills

• Full UK driving licence

• £48,000 – £56,000 per annum (DOE)
