Design Lead - Water Sector

About the Role
Our client, a leading design-and-build engineering business, is expanding their team following appointment to a major AMP8 framework with United Utilities. As a Design Lead, you'll deliver multi-disciplinary design on major water and wastewater projects that improve environmental outcomes across the North West.
Key Responsibilities
Lead multi-disciplinary design delivery across projects/programmes
Manage and mentor a team of civil, mechanical, electrical and process designers
Develop affordable, low-carbon technical solutions
Oversee detailed designs, ensuring quality, cost and programme compliance
Maintain strong client relationships and drive best-value engineering solutions
About You
Degree in Engineering
Chartered/Inc. (ICE, IMechE etc.) or equivalent experience
Experience in water/wastewater design and CDM 2015 responsibilities
Strong technical expertise and cross-discipline awareness
Willingness to travel across the region
Proactive and pragmatic approach
