Operations Director - The Role:
You will lead business operations and oversee clinical services, ensuring safe, effective, and sustainable patient care. This senior leadership role focuses on driving operational efficiency, clinical governance, and service development within secondary care.
Operations Director – Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of the operational strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall vision and objectives
- Lead business development initiatives, exploring new markets, partnerships, and service lines.
- Oversee financial performance, and resource allocation to support growth
- Ensure clinical quality, governance, and compliance remain central to expansion
- Ensure a commitment to the highest standards of safeguarding and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards
- Foster and nurture a positive, performance-driven culture, supporting the development and well-being of both staff and volunteers
Operations Director – You:
- Minimum of 5 years' senior leadership experience in the healthcare, care or related sectors
- Proven expertise in clinical contract management
- Knowledge of healthcare systems, governance, and regulations
- Degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a clinical discipline (preferred)
- Strategic thinker, able to align operational goals with the overall organisational vision
- Commercially astute, with experience in service growth, and scaling operations
