Leading the way in private label and contract manufacturing, they are seeking an individual who is technical strong, with great leadership skills, and in return offer a strong comp & bens package and career development. The roleResponsible for c10 direct reports, and up to 100 indirect reports, the role of the Production Manager is to proactively lead and manage the department to successfully deliver all performance criteria in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery & People (SQCDP) through the involvement and engagement of the team.Developing a culture of Continuous Improvement to ensure incremental and sustained YoY performance improvement. The business values a collaborative, leadership approach, therefore this role requires the ability to develop a culture of Operational Excellence and encouraging all team members to influence and drive improvements.The personApplicants will need to demonstrate the following experience:
  • An ability to influence optimisation levels and achieve increased OEE, done through technical expertise and importantly, leadership
  • A desire to achieve and exceed compliance standards
  • Strong leadership and staff development capabilities
  • A natural ability to manage and communicate with teams operating across rolling shift patterns.
  • Experience working in either chemical, liquids or blending is required
