Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with a solid background in commercial office fit-out and refurbishment. The successful candidate will be client-facing, responsible for running sites day-to-day, managing subcontractors, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and delivery.
This is a site-based role, overseeing projects across the North, so flexibility and travel will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day running of commercial office fit-out projects (200k-5m).
- Act as the main site contact for clients, consultants, and project teams.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site labour.
- Maintain health and safety standards and ensure all site activities comply with company policy.
- Monitor progress, quality, and adherence to programme.
- Conduct site meetings and report on project progress to the Project Manager / Contracts Manager.
- Uphold company reputation for quality and professionalism on every project.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in commercial office fit-out / refurbishment.
- Experience managing projects between 200k and 5m.
- Strong understanding of Cat A and Cat B office environments.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work (essential).
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North of England.
- Ability to deliver projects to tight deadlines and high-quality standards.
Package
- Salary: 50,000 - 55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
