The Building Services Engineer Role
As the Building Services Engineer/ Handyman, you will be a key member of the Facilities team, assisting with the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the company's premises. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and escorting contractors on site
- Attending to breakdowns and reactive calls
- Obtaining quotes for third-party work
- Assisting the Motor Transport Engineer and Electrician with various tasks
- Carrying out small to medium-sized projects, such as painting, basic plumbing, and joinery
What We're Looking For
The ideal Buiilding Services Engineer/ Handyman candidate will have a diverse skill set, including:
- Ability to work at height
- Fault-finding, rectification, and installation experience within a multi-skilled background
- Electrical bias (advantageous)
- Good all-round DIY skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in working independently
- Computer literacy
- Full clean UK driving licence
