Are you an experienced Facilities Technician or Heating Engineer with a Gas Safe qualification, looking for a regional role offering autonomy, variety and excellent earning potential?

On offer is a field-based position covering sites from Manchester down to the Midlands, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of properties. You'll be a key member of the regional facilities team, working on heating systems, plumbing and general maintenance tasks, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and delivering a high standard of service.

This company is a well-established, high-end property management business operating across the UK. With a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer care, they are looking for a skilled technician to take ownership of the region and ensure facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Gas Safe qualified technician who enjoys a mix of heating, plumbing, and general maintenance work, in a role offering variety, autonomy, and long-term stability.The Role

  • Carry out heating system maintenance, fault finding and repairs (domestic and light commercial) across multiple sites
  • Complete general facilities maintenance including plumbing, minor electrical work, and building fabric repairs
  • Work from a planned maintenance schedule, as well as responding to urgent issues when required
  • Regional travel from Manchester to the Midlands (company vehicle and fuel card provided)
  • Monday to Friday, with optional weekend and evening overtime at enhanced rates

The Candidate

  • Gas Safe registered (essential)
  • Background as a heating engineer, facilities technician or similar
  • Experience in both planned and reactive maintenance
  • Comfortable working independently and travelling regionally
  • Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to safe working practices
