Blueprint Recruitment have an amazing new opportunity for you! We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our client in a contract role. The successful candidate will work five days a week in the client’s office in Manchester, dropping to a hybrid arrangement, with 2-3 days in the office after 2 months.

Our client is a multidisciplinary engineering and construction contractor with expertise across the rail industry.

Key Responsibilities:

-Develop and deliver mechanical designs and detailed engineering documentation in line with project requirements.

-Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports.

-Conduct on-site visits, inspections, and surveys to assess existing systems and support design validation.

-Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.

-Ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and health and safety regulations.

-Provide technical input during project planning, risk assessments, and design reviews.

Key Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

-Extensive experience within the water industry, specifically within hydraulic design, wastewater and clean water.

-Strong knowledge of electrical design and control systems.

-Chartered engineer.

-Experience in electrical and/or control engineering.

-Good IT skills.
