Our client is a leading international consultancy specializing in complex design solutions for the hyperscale data centre industry.
They are looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to serve as a technical discipline lead within their Building Engineering Team.
The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering and a minimum of 7 years of experience leading complex projects in critical environments, healthcare, or data centres.
Responsibilities include managing mechanical work packages, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, and presenting technical materials to various audiences.
The position offers a competitive salary of £70,000 to £85,000 per year, depending on experience.

Asanintegralmemberoftheirmulti-disciplinaryengineeringteam,youwillberesponsibleforthemechanicaldesignpackagesandoverallmechanicaldiscipline.Thisrolewillharnessyourcoredatacentreskillsandexperiencetoprovidetechnicalguidanceondiscipline-specificdatacentreprojects,aswellasmentoringanddevelopingjuniorcolleagues.

Leadingprojectsandworkingcloselywiththedatacentreclientstodeliverqualityworktomeettheirspecificneeds
Presentingtechnicalmaterialforreviewbytechnicalandnon-technicalaudiences
Contributingtoconceptualdesignstudiesandreportsforyourdisciplineandpackage
Collaboratewithmulti-disciplinaryteams
