Responsibilities for the service engineer include -
Carry out breakdown repairs and maintenance ofCNCMachines includingmultiaxis Mills and Lathes
Routine service and inspections, as well as fault finding
Carrying out both mechanical and minor electrical repairs to the machinery
Machine levelling and alignments
Installation and commissioning of machinery on site
Ordering of parts from the office, replacing and retrofitting
Regular travel to clients throughout the North West of England, with occasional trips to other regions as required
We would love to hear from suitable candidates with the following skills and experience
Previous experience as aCNCservice engineer, machine tool engineer, or electrical bias maintenance engineer
Confidence with electrical repairs to industrial machinery, ideally CNC
Experience working witheither FANUC or Siemens controls
Good knowledge of fault-finding, diagnostics checking and equipment inspections
Flexibility to work away at times when needed, including overnight stays in hotels
Clean driving license
