Example Recruitment Group is currently working with a well-established national heating contractor specialising in the local authority sector. They are currently seeking a qualified Heat Pump Engineer to cover the Greater Manchester area. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance within domestic social housing properties.
Heat Pump Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing and maintenance work on Air Source Heat Pump systems
- Fault finding and repairs on Air Source Heat Pump systems
- Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring tenants receive excellent care
- Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records
Heat Pump EngineerRequirements:
- A minimum of 2 years experience working on Heat Pump systems
- Experience in servicing and maintaining Heat Pumps, as well as strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and repair skills
- In-date ACS qualifications, including CKR1 & HTR1 (beneficial)
- F-Gas qualifications (essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- No unspent criminal convictions (DBS check to be carried out upon offer of employment)
Heat Pump EngineerSalary & Benefits:
- 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Attractive out-of-hours and overtime rates
- Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided
- Salary: £38,000 to £42,000 per year, depending on experience
- 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays
- Pension scheme
