We are seeking an experienced Mechanical CAD Technician to support the delivery of a wide range of water-sector engineering projects. This hybrid role offers flexibility while requiring 3 days per week in our Manchester office.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality mechanical CAD drawings and 3D models for water infrastructure projects
- Work closely with engineers and designers to develop accurate, coordinated design solutions
- Support the preparation of technical documentation and project deliverables
- Contribute to design reviews, clash detection, and model coordination activities
- Maintain drawing standards and ensure compliance with project and industry requirements
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven experience working within the water industry
- Strong proficiency in Mechanical CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar)
- Ability to read, interpret, and produce detailed mechanical drawings
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and design workflows
Desirable
- Revit experience
- Autodesk experience
- Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary design teams
