Senior CGI Modeller | Manchester| Full Time| Circa £35,000
Our client is a full-service creative group located across the UK and China, with collaborative
in-house design, photography, CGI, video teams. With numerous client expansions and an ambitious growth plan, this is a hugely exciting time to join this friendly and creative busy group.
Due to continued success, the company is currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic CGI Modeller to join its expanding team based their Manchester Studio.
In this role, you will be responsible for producing photorealistic 3D models of furniture and upholstered products, working closely with designers, product developers, and visualisation artists. Your models will bring concepts to life across web, print, AR/VR, and digital marketing platforms. You will be confident liaising directly with clients and your colleagues. Expert-level, often involved in workflow optimization, mentoring juniors, and client-facing work
Key Responsibilities:
- Model accurate, detailed 3D representations of furniture, soft furnishings, and consumer products from reference material, CAD data, or physical samples
- Apply appropriate materials, textures, and UV mapping for realism and fidelity
- Collaborate with rendering and lighting teams to ensure final output meets standards
- Maintain clean topology and optimized geometry for performance and reusability
- Work to project timelines while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail
Role Requirements
- Proven experience in CGI modelling, ideally in the furniture, Kitchen and Bathrooms or product sector
- Proficiency in 3ds Max or equivalent 3D software
- Strong knowledge of UV mapping, texturing (Substance or similar), and shader creation
- Portfolio showcasing photorealistic modelling work, particularly upholstered items and furniture
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of PBR workflows and real-time asset optimisation is a plus
