Premier Education is recruiting on behalf of a number of welcoming and vibrant schools in the Wigan, Leigh and surrounding area, seeking enthusiastic and committed Primary Teachers to join their teams.

The Role:

  • Position: EYFS, KS1 and KS2 Teachers (Multiple Positions Available)
  • Location: Wigan, Leigh and surrounding area
  • Contract: Full-time / Part time / Ad Hoc / Permanent (Opportunities for immediate starts)
  • ECTs and Newly Qualified Teachers 2025 are encouraged to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons with strong curriculum knowledge across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
  • Utilising effective formative assessment techniques to inform planning and ensure progress for all learners.
  • Planning engaging and well-structured lessons based upon prior learning and individual pupil needs.
  • Demonstrating excellent behaviour management skills to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Contributing enthusiastically to the wider ethos and activities of the school.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a supportive and dedicated staffing team.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential
  • Strong understanding of the KS1 or KS2 curriculum and/or Early Years Framework
  • Effective use of assessment to inform planning and promote progress.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
  • Willingness to contribute positively to the wider school community.
  • A proactive approach to professional development and collaboration.
