Primary Teacher

Contract Type: Full-time | Long-term (with potential for permanent)
Pay: £150- £250 per day (dependent on experience and pay scale)

We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Rusholme seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to begin your career in a supportive setting, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to make an impact.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum, fostering a love of learning and ensuring all pupils are supported to reach their full potential.

The year group will be assigned based on your experience and the school’s needs (EYFS, KS1, or KS2).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons

• Creating a positive and supportive classroom environment

• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly

• Working collaboratively with support staff and colleagues

• Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers

• Ensuring a safe and nurturing space in line with safeguarding expectations

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

• Experience teaching in UK primary schools (placements or paid work)

• Sound knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective classroom practice

• Passion for inclusive education and the ability to support diverse learning needs

• A positive, reflective, and proactive attitude

• Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

• Supportive SLT and friendly staff team

• Diverse and vibrant community
