Hours - 8am-4pm or 7am-3pm

COMPANY - One of the UK's leading suppliers of Board and Packaging, and we represent some of the world's leading mills, working across many different industry sectors such as air filtration, furniture manufacturing, fish, meat and poultry suppliers, wholesale merchants, and many more.
ROLE-
- Working on a variety of machinery primarily guillotines, ensuring the machines are working to capacity and maximising efficiency;
- Running a Polar or Wohlenberg Guillotine
- Dependent on business needs there could be future opportunities to train/operate other machinery such as hand-fed platens, and automatic die-cutting machines
- Ensuring production orders are completed on time and in full, whilst maintaining accurate stock control;
- Maintaining and monitoring machinery;
- Packing and bundling materials, including manual handling;
- Following our procedures
EXPERIENCE-
- Ideally would like someone with previous experience of running a Polar or Wohlenberg Guillotine
- Would consider someone who is looking to be trained up
- Looking for a standards and results driven individual, who is capable of working in a multi-skilled position, as part of a small, but busy team, and who possesses:
- A good understanding of health and safety techniques;
- Excellent attention to detail
- Team player behaviours (by this we mean someone who can be flexible with their time and tasks, and someone who enjoys working collaboratively); and,
- A proven track record of being reliable
