Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Temporary School Administrator to join a vibrant and supportive school in Trafford, starting immediately. About the Role:

You will be working as part of a busy school office, supporting the Senior Leadership Team, teaching staff, and wider school community. This temporary position is ideal for someone with previous administrative experience who enjoys variety and thrives under pressure. Familiarity with school systems such as SIMS is highly desirable.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff

  • Managing emails, telephone calls, and incoming enquiries

  • Maintaining and updating the school's SIMS database (training provided if necessary)

  • Supporting pupil attendance tracking and reporting

  • Assisting with admissions, record-keeping, and school communications

  • General administrative duties including filing, photocopying, and document preparation

  • Ensuring compliance with safeguarding and data protection policies

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Previous experience in an administrative role (school experience an advantage)

  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and database systems

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

  • High levels of accuracy, discretion, and professionalism

  • A flexible and proactive approach to work

  • An Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
