The Role:

As a Humanities Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 for suitable candidates. You will have experience in teaching RE, History and/or Geography.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Humanities lessons that cater to students of varying abilities.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and collaborate with colleagues in the Humanities department.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds UK QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).
  • Has experience teaching Humanities subjects in a UK secondary school setting or is an ECT looking to start their career in a supportive school.
  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for History, Geography or RE.
  • Is committed to student progress, engagement, and high academic achievement.
  • Has strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire a love for learning.
