Gas Engineer

Start Date: Monday 24th November
Pay: 22.00 - 23.00 per hour CIS
Contract Length: 12 months
Hours: Monday to Friday

The Role
They are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Gas Engineer to join their team on a long-term contract. Working across the M14 and M15 areas, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out pre-entry inspections and CP12 checks across a portfolio of social housing properties.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct pre-entry checks and complete CP12 gas safety certificates
Carry out servicing and safety inspections in domestic properties
Ensure all work complies with current gas safety and health & safety regulations
Demonstrate professionalism and provide excellent customer service to tenants
Manage workload effectively and work independently across multiple sites

Candidate Profile

ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1, CPA1) - commercial tickets desirable (COCN1, CODNCO1 etc.)
NVQ in a relevant gas or plumbing
Proven experience in domestic and/or commercial gas systems
Full UK driving licence with own van and tools
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
