We seek a confident professional to join a leading retail brand in Salford Quays (Manchester). They are now looking to appoint a Policy Advisor who will play a crucial role in the business, supporting and coaching managers, providing high-level advice and guidance on people management and policy and decision making.
Part of the role will also involve supporting line managers and promoting a positive employee relationship environment. You will partner with key HR Business partners to keep them informed of your day-to-day assigned cases.
- You will provide accurate advice across all people policies and provide support to management for long-term absence for cases.
- Coach and develop line management to deliver good people management.
- Building effective line management relationships
- Work closely with the ER case managers to assist with queries about cases.
Skills Required:
- HR experience and knowledge.
- Up-to-date knowledge of employee relations, policies and processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- High-levels of communication skills.
- Experience in another retail industry.
- Experience as an advisor or policy expert.
