We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a vibrant and well-regarded primary school in Tameside, seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in a long-term, full-time role.



About the Role

This rewarding position involves working closely with the class teacher to ensure pupils remain focused and engaged in their learning. You'll play a key role in promoting positive peer relationships and social skills, delivering group interventions, and providing 1:1 support when needed.

We're looking for someone who is confident managing behaviour, has a calm and professional manner, and can effectively support pupil progress through regular feedback to the class teacher.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with children aged 5-11

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
