Carry out daily Process Engineering duties within the production value stream
Use tools like PFMEA, control plans, SPC, value stream mapping, and process capability studies
Develop and maintain process maps, SOPs, and improvement plans
Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and lean initiatives
Analyse production data to identify areas for improvement
Assist in introducing new products and processes, ensuring effective integration into manufacturing
Provide technical support to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
Contribute to internal/external audits, KPIs, and the continuous improvement plan
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Required Skills & Experience:
Extensive experience in process engineering within a complex manufacturing environment
Proficiency with engineering tools: SPC, Time-Study (MOST), Yamazumi, SOPs, spaghetti diagrams
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Skills:
Experience with lean manufacturing tools (e.g. Single Piece Flow, SMED, 5S, Jidoka)
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project)
Understanding of APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, and related quality tools
Background in designing and implementing new processes
Other:
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to travel on short notice to suppliers/customers
