About the Role

A fast-growing, forward-thinking company in the EdTech space is looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead the discovery phase for a new mobile app and web experience. This role is essential in shaping a digital product that seamlessly integrates web and mobile functionalities, ensuring users have an intuitive and complementary experience across both platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the discovery phase for mobile and web experiences, building a strong product vision.
  • Collaborate closely with product designers and cross-functional teams to refine user journeys.
  • Lead the development of a companion app model, removing complexities associated with separate app store purchases, simplifying transactions via Shopify integration.
  • Ensure compliance with Apple's storage guidelines, solving technical challenges efficiently.
  • Manage product requirements, including storage optimisation and API integrations.
  • Conduct and lead user research to validate customer needs and enhance UX.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Product Manager with a strong background in mobile app development and web product strategy. They should:

  • Have a track record of successfully managing app projects and launching digital solutions.
  • Understand Apple's policies, storage concerns, and technical requirements.
  • Possess strong leadership and workshop facilitation skills, as interviews may involve a hands-on session the 2 stage interview process.
  • Be available for bi-monthly in-office workshops to collaborate with the team effectively.
  • Be open to a contractor-based role, with flexibility around day rates.

Project Timeline

  • Start date: Flexible, ideally between June and July (negotiable for the right candidate).
