Hours (Monday - Friday: 8.00AM - 14.00PM)

Annual Salary (between £35,000 and £40,000 DOE)

Day to Day Duties

As a Production Supervisor your duties will include:

Supervise your Production team, ensuring that day-to-day responsibilities are completed in a timely manner and in line with performance targets related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People.
Supervise the development of your Production team to strengthen and enhance our Production capabilities and flexibility.
Supervise the attendance performance of the Production team members, utilising the company Absence Management procedures as necessary.
Ensure the adherence to company quality standards and procedures, confirming production output to relevant specifications as required.
Ensure the strict adherence to Standard Operating Instructions for all production activities, particularly in relation to Health & Safety and Quality.
Supervise the execution of all Production plans, ensuring that work sequences and schedules are adhered to.
Identify and address production issues, implementing corrective and preventative actions with urgency to maintain production performance.
Support the introduction of new products and processes from a Production perspective.

Essential Skills

As a Production Supervisor it is essential that you:

Significant Production and Operations management experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
Significant experience in the utilisation of ERP systems, preferably IFS.
Detailed knowledge of Production and Operations management methodologies.
Ability to read and interrogate engineering drawings including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

Desirable Experience

As a Production Supervisor it would be desirable that you:

Experienced leader and manager of a team

Methodical and organised

Experience with LEAN methodologies
