Job Title: Fit Out & Refurbishment Project Manager

Location: Greater Manchester (nationwide travel)

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a track record of delivering high-quality fit out and refurbishment schemes? An established interiors specialist is looking for a driven and detail-oriented professional to manage projects from start to finish, ensuring smooth delivery across sites nationwide.



About the Role

This is a hands-on position where you'll be responsible for managing refurbishment and fit out projects ranging from 50k to 2m. You'll act as the central point of contact between clients, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to an excellent standard.



Key Duties

  • Lead and deliver commercial fit out and refurbishment projects across the UK.

  • Take charge of project schedules, budgets, and health & safety compliance.

  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.

  • Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring expectations are met and projects are handed over successfully.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.



About You

  • Proven background in project management within fit out and refurbishment (commercial interiors experience desirable).

  • Knowledge of construction methods, building regulations, and health & safety practices.

  • Strong leadership, organisation, and communication abilities.

  • Capable of managing multiple projects at once.

  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationwide.

Qualifications

  • Degree, HNC, or HND in Construction Management, Project Management, Building Surveying, or similar (essential).

  • SMSTS and CSCS (essential).

  • First Aid at Work (desirable).

  • Professional membership with CIOB, RICS, or APM (advantageous).
