?? About the Role:

Strong and proactive Senior Developer to lead and deliver high-impact, user-facing digital platforms. This is a vital role, for the data and analytics function delivering and maintaining web platforms, visualisation dashboards, and APIs used by stakeholders and the public.


?? Responsibilities:
  • Lead development and deployment of website and web-based visualisation dashboards.

  • Build and maintain scalable, user-friendly interfaces backed by complex data models.

  • Collaborate with analysts, economists, and modellers to build web tools for data access and policy support.

  • Manage project timelines and ensure high-quality software delivery.

  • Mentor junior developers and ensure best practices across development workflows.

? Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Strong front-end and back-end web development experience.

  • Skilled in web-centric programming (e.g. JavaScript, Python, HTML/CSS, React, D3, Flask, etc.).

  • Experience designing and deploying dynamic dashboards or GIS models.

  • Familiarity with complex datasets and API integrations.

  • Ability to lead technical delivery and engage with diverse stakeholders.

?? Qualifications:
  • Degree in a numerate discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent experience.
