An award-winning construction consultancy in Manchester is looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to take the lead on a series of large-scale residential and mixed-use regeneration schemes across Greater Manchester. Known for its strategic involvement in some of the region's most iconic developments, this consultancy offers the Senior Project Manager a platform for visible impact and long-term career progression.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with strong stakeholder management skills and extensive consultancy experience to join a supportive, high-calibre team delivering schemes in excess of 50m.

The Senior Project Manager's role

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for full project leadership and high-level client engagement on a portfolio of private and local authority-led regeneration projects. Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing all stages of the project lifecycle from concept to completion
Managing project teams, consultants, contractors, and internal resources
Preparing strategic delivery plans, progress reports and risk management plans
Leading procurement, contract negotiation, and administration (JCT/NEC)
Chairing progress and design team meetings
Supporting the mentoring and development of junior PMs

This Senior Project Manager role requires excellent leadership, commercial awareness, and a track record of delivering complex urban developments.

The Senior Project Manager

The ideal Senior Project Manager will have:

A degree in a relevant construction-related discipline
Minimum 5+ years' consultancy experience with recent PM leadership
Strong residential or mixed-use project experience
Chartered status (MRICS, MCIOB or MAPM)
Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
Experience working with local authority or housing association clients is desirable
